you can buy thomson's for £45, the condor one isn't actually carbon but 'composite' with a carbon wrap it's made by Token and is rebadged for lot's of manufacturers it's a nice post though.
it's perfectly acceptable to supply your own bit's just check they take some money off, (i brought mine without a saddle as i had a brooks).
my new post is an easton ec-90 it's all carbon even the clamp! thankfully the bolt is made of metal.
if i were you i would buy a thomson yourself or get the condor carbon.
