unxetas here's what I think: Aerospokes look kinda cool in the same way that mag wheels looked cool on bmx's. But no one in their right mind would ride a mag over a good spoked wheel for "trickery" on a bmx! They just simply can't take it..
I've been trying to find the best way of building STRONG wheels, that I wouldn't be scared of bending if I were to start jumping around on the fixed - I just can't believe aerospokes are the strongest wheels available - unless they came up with a miraculous new material, **I imagine they'd flex like hell and I can't see them being that strong really.. **

Here is a comprehensive table of wheel stiffness data, [click me] and from one hundred and forty wheels tested where do you think the 700c aerospokes came ? Absolutley last ! They are without a doubt the least stiff wheels out there - and they are also one the heaviest wheel sets of the 140 tested, possibly even the heaviest if you take out the disc wheels.
