A new craze sweeping the nations youth is leaving authorities baffled and struggling to find a solution.
Initially adopted by the most 'hardcore' couriers, Royal Mail postmen, the trend has been adopted by Generation X and causing chaos in the nation's cities.
"Walking" as it is known, is a travel mode that doesn't require gears, doesn't require a license and in some cases doesn't even require shoes.
Jenny Wilkinson a Selfridges employee had these comments for us "I was just minding my own business when all of a sudden I was rushed by two young hooligans. They were WALKING on the footpath. They almost bumped into me. I just couldn't believe it. I'm now scared to leave my home"
