Sorry I presumed that your frame would be lugged being mercian (I always think of classic mercian track bikes), if it is not lugged go for what either it's all good Ahead maybe looks better on a lugless frame in some cases. I am rambelling cause I am in a bad mood ignore me . Sorry.

Lugged looks fine with one colour or two and vica versa. Look in fgg for ideas.
