Thursday looks like the best day of the week.
I fancy a bit of Highgate myself, it's been a while! -

Just started doing a month of teaching in Highgate, so it's up Highgate Hill (not West) in the morning, and a quick loop round Muswell Hill on the way home (at lunchtime), all on my hack/beater/shitter fixed with rack and pannier.
Not sure if I'll get there on Thursday, but should have climbing legs ready for an attempt soon... is the first prize a C50 Pista then?

lpg so long as it isn't raining. i melt in the rain.
I went to do a dysfluency observation in Teddington tonight. New Kings Road had piles of hail stones on the pavement, plus the leaves they'd torn down from the trees. Long stretches of the road were a foot deep in water, and the pavements were submerged too.
You'd have loved it.

brixton was hit really bad, all the roofs were white like it's been snowing. i was in the office when it happened. i then spotted from the office window that brixton road has become a river. my boss got really excited we went down together to take pictures...
would have loved to ride around in that shit in a beater! -

I was there at 10 past.. mostly late due to not knowing which one Gloster (that's the Aussie spelling) gate was and not being of sound mind to check a map.
I saw danger joel as he was leaving.. apparently two peeps had already gone.. I was too fscked (tired not sexed up) to ride much further than home anyway. -
• #146
rain and slicks bad news sorry i wasn't there but if there no opportunity to sit in the park in the sun with a bag full of stellas and sit outside in the pub at the top i get sad !!
-

Crappy day, crappy weather, crappy summer - takes the edge off, riding through rain and traffic with nowhere to sit down and booze.
