    Quite. Some day I might organise a tenpin bowling match for me and my colleagues. Does that mean it should be open to anybody? Not really. What about inter-office 5-a-side football games. They wouldn't expect random people to wander in off the street and demand to play. It's all stupid. If couriers want to race couriers, then why should anyone else demand to join? I give up.

    I'm guessing the only problem here is that the alleycats are publicly announced on the Internet - that way whoever gets to hear about it is going to want to join.

    ps. i'm guessing the london fakengers organisation is some kind of joke.
