Love that Jack Cassidy. I had a Guild Starfire for a while, sold it to the bloek from The The. recently noticed it cropping on on Barrie Cadogan's insta as he's been on tour with them. Weird.
I went for a lunchtime walk to Denmark St yesterday half hoping to find a bargain s/h p-bass. Was slim pickings. No pun intended. Also found that despite my advance years and relative cockiness the old guitarshop red-light fever kicked in the second I walked in to any of the shops.
Fixing up that cheap Squier P last week had got me wondering if I'd be happy with one myself. There's a 1996 Cort factory one on Facebay for £330 that looks pretty decent. I'm very tempted... although over three still feels toppy for a squier I'd say.
