I've got a Netatmo one. Not the latest and greatest but very easy to install with lots of different installation options (I replaced a dumb thermostat with it, others seemed a lot more complex if you wanted to do that as they need wiring to power as well) and very reliable.
HA integration is good through the Netatmo API or Homekit.

What's the state of play with smart thermostats in 2025? I have an ancient dumb thermostat that needs upgrading, would go full @ectoplasmosis eventually and do EWI, HVAC & heat pump, though for the moment it'll just be the convenience of having the heating come on an hour later at the weekend.
Leaning towards Wiser because of local control, cheap & good integration with HA if I get into that.
Can't tell if theirs has Matter, or if it... matters.
