Studio Display update: less than six months in and my monitor has bricked itself. An on-and-off issue with it booting in 'update' mode has developed into a doom loop of constant restarts. Apple have been less than helpful tbh... ("have you tried unplugging it?") so driving it to the store in Manchester next week (I'm in Kendal) for a repair. With a little research, it seems like a fairly common problem. Big shame because it's sooooo lovely to work on.
