• Thank you all - we were a bit startled by the message having thought we had cleared/bricked the phone and thinking they did have access to what was claimed. Thinking logically it is a scam to help free up that phone, especially so with it showing as being in The Philippines. Not long read up on the difference between 'erase this device' (bricks it) vs 'remove this device' (frees it up for someone else) and have erased it. I should reply to the text and make them pose with a fish, or loaf of bread on their head to release the phone but just going to move on from this one.
