If it's showing on findmy you can wipe it remotely, but seems very weird as they can't be using the phone without an iCloud account.
At a guess I would say that they can't shift it cause it's still locked to your account. If you remove it from your account, they can sell it on.
I'm trying to get Lyca to blacklist the phone I had stolen via the iemi number but they are not being very useful. I can't get an insurance replacement until they do.
