  • I’d have to wait til I go back to find out. I did get all the specs from the internet recently. The replacement parts I do have should fit. I think it’s the collar because prior to the slippage and use of sandpaper, a cyclist trying to help me over torqued the seatpost collar bolt and I heard a cracking noise. Plus, I was 245-250 lbs at the time. @ltc

  • I'm not into the slit design seatpost collar at all. Have never experienced any solid seatpost collars braking/failing before except for stripping the binder bolt. Reminds me of how automobile companies design a flawed product only to create a solution they can sell you after warranty expires. Having worked at a car repair shop that were dealing with used vehicle warranty, I've seen claims denied numerous times with the reasons being normal wear and tear.

The Black label looks good with the raw looking finish. The oversized oval downtube reminds me of a 6ku track aluminium that I commuted for a few years before getting the Cinelli. It didn't have dropped seat stays like your state but I remember it riding very stiff and lifeless compared to steel framed bikes... It was light though
