  • Spend £££ on a new car - get a broken product and shit service. Actually, that holds true for most things.

What a time to be alive.

  • To their credit, bishop stortford Volvo have already called this morning to say it’s arrived, that it’ll be looked at today and that they’ll call me later today with a progress update so let’s see.

  • Am going to do worse than that, I'm going to tag your house on btob.

  • It's just cars mate.

  • Saw that today. Loud as fuck!

  • that is good news. anything they can do about the way it looks.

got nothing but love for you dude but am wishing you had the old bimmers back in the rotation

  • Yeah is epic. saw one of them rolling down the A11 last year and it made my day. Epic car

  • Ha. Have you seen what BMWs look like these days?

I like the way it looks but it’s not for everyone.

  • I thought the Polestar 2 I had looked quite good, for my tastes I would have preferred an estate version though.

  • Drove a Polestar 2 and a Tesla Model Y back to back a couple of weeks ago. The battery in the Polestar gave me 180 miles when fully charged, whereas the Tesla claimed 375 miles and got close.

As far as the build quality is concerned, the Model Y feels like it was put together on a light industrial estate in Leicestershire - it moans and groans under acceleration, whereas the Polestar was beautifully finished. Both were ‘21 plated and had about 40k miles on them and both had all the standard bells and whistles.

    I’d take a Polestar with bigger battery…

  • Haven't posted in here before but in an earlier life I loved VW Polos, I have a Derby mk1 tucked away but I doubt it'll ever see the road - I'm cool with that though as I've moved on since!

My last foray into that life was a mk2 golf GTi 8v which was great but rusty AF and I sold it in late 2019.

I then bought an E46 320d coupe Sport a few days before Christmas of that year and still have it.

It just won't die. 214k I think! Still pulls amazingly, not that it gets used much now (young family) but it looks the part in standard guise.

Have a soft spot for saabs, older VWs, BMWs etc.

  • Corniche in B&Q car park today

  • Some air cooled fun in Brazil.

@hugo7 yep correct. Sao Paulo to Bahia and then we caught a flight back to Sao Paulo.

SP is a tough city but I love the fact every 5th car is a lowered shit3box VW
