I assume the Frankenbikes thread has been mentioned. That thread was pretty much my introduction to the forum. Went off the boil a little in latter years, but so many bangers in there for so many years.

Bankiren built thread was really exciting, he sadly desappeared.

to be honest, loads of the threads here have shaped my outlook on bikes considerably. big up the long rambling project builds full of odd finds and clever bodges. and tester approves

Lightweight wheels was the gift that kept giving.
Guy and his partner building the house on a Scottish island and the sailing boat puffin were most enjoyable reads for me
