Finally got around to watching Willy's Wonderland. What an absolutely terrific, terrific bit of silly fun. Nic Cage was perfect.

It's good isn't it, Gorilla scene.. Ooft.

been doing a few christopher guest films this last week. watched a mighty wind, eugene levy steals any scene he's in that film. brilliant character.

the scenes when he meets mickey ( his ex singing partner )and her husband at her home ( about 17 mins into the film ) is a series of brilliant comic moments.

Rewatched Four Lions at the weekend. Still great. I'd forgotten all the Malcolm-Tucker-level swearing: "useless, fuck-my-auntie-from-a-standing-position, pajama-wearing cockerel dicks".

Usually avoid trailers like the plague, but made an exception. Looks pretty good.

Ha yeah, that is very intriguing.

Apparently there are two movies in production. That one and a second new sequel.

It’s got me thinking about a few other post apocalyptic/dystopian British movies from the last ten years or so that I want to give another watch. Strongly recommend all of these, probably in this order of goodness. Any others to add to the list?

Great trailer. Looking forward to it.

Hope this means a re-release of the original as it's not on any streaming service and it's out of print on dvd / blu-ray.

As lots of it was shot on Canon DV cameras, apparently it's not going to transfer well to a 4K blu-ray which is a massive shame.

picked up 28 Days Later on DVD at a charity shop last weekend for 50p..!

just watched it again and very much enjoyed it, though had forgotten how on the nose some of the product (pepsi) placement was

One thing to note with the Mubi thing, if you then go to cancel the subscription they give you another 30 free days.

I've never watched 28 days later as I don't generally do horror very well, but I like films about/set in London, and I'm still tempted.

Well watching 28 days later is difficult as it isn't available on streaming services
