I guess a 29er MTB tire starts at 55mm, so you would always have been short. The raceblade ones are fine I guess but they’re also so so unattractive IMO!
This is coming from the man who has this on one of bikes tho….

They were bought for the grrl's bike not mine, I just wanted to see where they'd fit on mine. I've never really run front mudguards due to the toe overlap and my traffic dodging requirements.
I was thinking of getting one of those moto style ones for the front fork, just to reduce some of the spray since every ride I do now seems to be in the pissing rain. The rear I have pinched of her bike and she's got my old one.
For her front guard, I'm going to look around some more and try to find those shorter "mid fork" mounts, whatever the hell they're called.

SJS say they're 350-360mm. I could go for the Raceblade-style wrap around option but I'd prefer normal/proper mounting, especially since the fork already has holes and stuff for it.
