The SKS spares from SJS weren't really long enough for either bike. Mine makes sense, it's a 29er with fat rubber.
I thought they'd be fine on the Sequoia but the mount holes are forward of the fork thru-axle OR Spesh use much shorter mounts (see photo) (there's also a set of holes on the inside of the forks, presumably for some kind of hidden mudguard mounts?
Dammit, sorry, dud tip! Though I can claim exceptional circumstances due to Specialised and their weird mounts this time ☺️
The ones inside the fork legs look like those Mason spec tbh…
