Have to say skrtluv, quite inventive to use the toptube protector in that place for your rim brake.

When I had the frame given to me by my old room mate it had cosmetic damage on the downtube where the cable connects to the front brake

If it's a Kashimax, it's probably worth more than the rest of the bike! They're going for silly money these days. Replace it with a bit of bar tape and put a deposit on a house.

I wish it was kashimax. It would have been on my Njs. It was a cheapy off shores brand from a local Fixie distributor. I could have sold the kashimax and bought a nice wheelset with the inflated price.

Re the saddle: the choice is on purpose because it is the only saddle I know hiding its rails and therefore perfectly meets the bold theme of the oversized tubes, wheelset and aero crank. All other carbon saddles would have looked to fragile and would therefore have missed the theme

And just out of curiosity: Whats so bad about velobike? (Except prices but ofc neither the ring nor the bars were bought rrp)

it is the contrast between the velobike chainring (olympic bling) and your choice of tyres (tufo=not bling), as tufos will get you no respect in this forum, you should immediately change to at least conti sonderklasse or vittoria pista oro

I've never liked those bottle cages but this is otherwise sooo nice

There are dipples underneath the padding that I had to grind down with a file so I covered the scratches with an asymmetric pattern

The Somec and Look are easy Yessus from me!

The Look is a hot yes from me, even with those bars; Somec, GBP.

I have a hate-on for white tape, otherwise the Somec is lovely. Particularly appreciate the painted crown on a chrome fork, so it belongs with the frame. SP rear brake is Campy win.

The Look would be fabulous if modern Campy didn't look like utter shit. Levers, cranks, RD - so much fail
