The condition of the lathe is not terrible, it is missing all the components for the leadscrew so i cant cut threads. However overall fine, i pulled it apart completely and de rusted/cleaned. The spindle/bearings are in very good condition and the ways are fine. My main aim is to set it up for tube notching however i think i will be able to do some machining as well.
Im very pleased for the money.
Its not got much info on it, however there is a name plate on the headstock with a company and address based in Nice. I cant find anything online about them so i dont think they made many machines.
The build quality is comparable to my old myford of a similar era, the castings are all fairly nice, and it has metric threads!
