Sorry no offence just got carried away down the wrong rabbit hole .
For what it’s worth I’ve just been practicing pinrolling for the first time and have ordered a pile of poppers for my trousers, because I realised I quite often wear sandals.

I realize my wording could be considered harsh - and I think I know where you’re coming from, having been down a similar rabbit hole trying to find a simple and neat solution when the socks and clips didn’t work out.
I wouldn’t mind some plus fours and long socks, but I had a hard time finding something financially viable and I already have trousers that I like.

What is the point you are trying to get across?
You're obviously satisfied with your method, and I don't believe I was trying to persuade you or anyone else to do it my way.
