That's the thing I was planning to buy, unsure about the velcro tough. Thanks for the recommandation. I'll go this way.

My trugg lives to survive another day.
Cut the one remaining broken handle off. Cut out some hand holes with a Multi-Tool. Then lined with some metal panel trim I'd bought for an unnecessary project, but missed the return window. Then a patch ziptied on and a bit of plastic welding.

Nice job!
What did you use to weld? I need to do some and I'm not sure if a soldering iron or a little butane torch would be better.

I originally had grander aspirations of neater, rounded handle holes. But was in a bit of a rush and needed to used it.

Belated, but a 5.5mm socket fits perfectly - I used a lid from a jar of vitamins to make a new cap on the bit, and as a bonus it just gives me the extra capacity I need if I decide I feel like a Moka pot brew instead

Very tempted to try this, it will almost certainly end in disaster.

I've done similar with a g clamp and pry bar. It's not quite as crude but still fairly. I think a small effort to drill a hole in a block of wood and cut it in half, to make a tube block would be a nicer way.

I've found some curved steel tube similar to your pic in the garage and cut a wooden block support. Buying a g clamp this week. Fingers crossed.

Nice, good luck. The clamp gives you more control to line everything up as you want. Post some pictures of your progress.

Not amazing maybe but quietly pleased with this. Brackets from ikea wardrobe or something similar

Very neat. Does it sag at all, due to vibration? If so, maybe a bar between the middle of the light and the mudguard mount would sort it?

That's ace, a clean sweep.

Thanks.
Nope, it’s held up so far possibly also as the light is very light, but that’s good thinking and might come in handy for rougher terrain also -

Some of those serated anti-turn washers would also probably do the job (and likely look a bit neater)

@rhb requested I post this here.
I took a punch and some snap buttons to the bottom of the right pant leg on some fjällräven trousers that really want to flap their way onto a chain ring.Next time I’ll probably put a little more distance between the parts to make it fit a little more snugly

I have an amp setup in a pretty tight space, accidentally left it on one day, and it got pretty warm.
Cue some cheap server fans from AliExpress and my first go with a coping saw

Awesome, simple yet effective... Couple of those pics could go to the Hidden Faces thread too >>>>>>>>

Cool. In both senses!

Indeed!
Fjällräven do it on a number of the more expensive options, so I was pretty sure it would work to some degree. -

Nice and easy pinroll technique/style.
I might ask my mom to do it for me, I always late at work because of doing pinroll each morning :)
Hose clips with something under to protect the frame e.g. old inner tube.
