Although The Substance' message falls a little flat what with the constant close ups for the Male gaze

The arse close ups? There were a lot of them, weren't there? I loved the tone, the photography and the art direction, very stylised and claustrophobic. It felt like a student film, in a good way, amazing that it's a mainstream release.
