Just reporting back on the Brevet long sleeved wind stopper. After a hiccup where a brevet long sleeved merino was sent I eventually wore the wind stopper today on exactly the sort of ride that makes up 75% of my riding.
100KM up from Cardiff towards Taly Bont reservoirs, starting in the dark with fairly low temps. Then riding through pretty grey weather with drizzle and roads that get progressively shitter.
The to top was excellent with just the thin short sleeved explore base layer on, fit is tailored but very comfortable on the bike.
I see the Brevet range as the jewel in Rapha's crown, very practical, hard wearing kit for long rides in shit UK type weather.
Special mention for my new Van Rysel Merino winter cap , cheap , comfortable and nice and thin.

I have the windblocker jacket and it's brilliant. I've had it a few years now and wear it a lot, it still looks brand new. Perfect for most British weather with different combos of layers underneath, as long as it's relatively dry and not below freezing.
