We must also agree it's ok for someone to ask if a voucher can be sold on at face-value and it's kind of hypocritical for a poster to say "to offer it at a small discount as is normal on here" having very recently done the exact opposite.
it is quite funny

Please don’t @ me when I said I’d be in meetings.

Sorry

There's a little bit of a difference between selling tickets to a sold out event at face value, and selling a shopping voucher at face value old boy. Bonus point for the creepy stalking.
Will take the voucher for £40

Quick break…looks like I’m still winning at £75, which is a serious bid.

hurts to read but true

Rapha no longer makes bangers?

Maap stuff is really nice quality, same with pas. Definitely a dilution in the amount of rapha stuff that I'll buy as a result.

Face value + come round and do my turbo session for me tomorrow.

the message and the music not matching at all. "content creator" telling a story so only his mouth "moving like a rat yappa yappa" so he should "shut it please" ... according to the music

Just ordered a Brevet Gore tex windstopper for the Welsh winter. Anyone have any thoughts on it?
I hope it'll be a good top for round the RRTY next year. -
• #38615
Rode everyday last winter in mine, except the real extreme cold days when I wore the insulated gore-tex jacket
-
• #38616
I've used mine the last few winters also doing RRtY and it's been great. The fit feels a little tighter compared to other jerseys in the same size, but not uncomfortably so. Keeps you warm even when damp and blowing a hoolie.
It's not warm enough to ride 200's throughout Scottish winters, however. (For really cold rides I usually wear a Gore winter baselayer, a core winter jacket and a classic softshell jacket.)

If it's cold enough to warrant this level of layering do you not get the heebeejeebies about ice on the road? That sounds like MTB or hiking level cold

I have a 200km route which follows high priority grit routes as well as passing a Greggs 12 times.
But I get what you’re saying. Maybe I’m more susceptible to the cold. The wind chill can also be really bad on the east coast.

The core winter jacket is also more like the winter jersey than a jacket so it’s not as much clothing as it seems.

Pay him no mind, he's just a soft Southerner. :)
-

No that makes perfect sense! I was just curious. I run a bit colder these days so I feel you. Out here if it's below 4 then I'm pretty wary of getting out but generally that requires pretty standard layers. Would have to be nasty nasty cold to layer like that in Kent. Having a gritted road loop is v smart though, will put one together!

This is insanely dull but councils normally have a map of their grit routes online.
-
• #38623
Also Traffic Scotland have a gritter tracker - more entertaining than it would first appear ;)
-
• #38624
That's pretty funny 😆
And the 3d map is fun to play with

Hopefully this link works.
