  • Incredible women's final too. But are there no sin bins for cynical pens in sevens?

  • Normally yes, they even send of someone intentionally sending the ball away after a whistle from the ref to prevent quick play usually, but maybe there are some adjustments to rules as well for olympics?
And from memory a final was 2 10mns periods before, now seems to be 2 7mns as per other games. Makes more sens as the game is brutal already lol

  • Yup. They cut back from 10 mins in 2016, if memory serves. 10 minute halves is just a recipe for pain.

  • Fully agree, played a couple of times, hell on earth already with 2x7mns 😂

  • Tens is much more sedate for ex-front row like me...

  • Bokkes 33-7 wallabies

Not sure I understood the last 2 yellows though

  • Great stuff from Argentina too.

  • I missed it and now won't do a replay which fucks me off a bit

  • New England kit looks like they have sewn old school ties round the edges?

  • Which is probably quite apt for the RFU...

  • Hope everyone enjoyed some good rugby yesterday. I certainly did. All Blacks showd why they're considered one of the best in the world. 2 serious interception against the bokke was impressive. Made me sweat and shout a lot!

I know there will be a lot of anti-bok stuff so thought id post something thats middle of the ground. Seems like some atrocious reffing (though i hate to call out the refs as a game like that is high pressure and fast, things are missed)

Also, ill be watching it at the Pig and Whistle on Sat if anyones keen to join.

  • Both as bent as each other imo.

    Makes for a good finale.

    😎

  • Name a team that isn't 😂

It's like when you realise that almost all top athletes are on PEDs. Olympics, world games, all PEDs.

  • Quite the win for Argentina. They are a great team to watch too.

  • Was happy to see a Bris 5-point win also. But always feel bad for Falcons. They do seem to be fighting against all the odds in recent years.

I have two tickets to Scotland vs Fiji this Saturday and a double room at the Ten Hill Place hotel for both Friday and Saturday night, which are now going spare.

Cost us £345 all in and ideally would like to get that or near to that back but willing to take offers.

  • Quite the finish to England v All Blacks here. Great game.

  • What's the synopsis? I didn't get to watch the game unfortunately. I'm not prepared to pay £40/m for prime+ TNT

  • Great game, close all the way and neither team had major errors. Good reffing, great kicking from Marcus Smith. A lot of England players looking very useful indeed, and a lot of NZ players I didn't know. Result withheld in case you're planning to catch up!

  • I've seen the result. I'll watch it anyway.

    Thanks for the synopsis!

  • I'm not prepared to pay £40/m for prime+ TNT

International games being on TNT is not good at all long term

  • Enjoyed the radio coverage on BBC 5extra, I too refuse to pay for tnt coverage.

  • Lol England. Marcus Smith pretty much carried them, but Valentini, McReight and Angus Bell were immense.

  • Shocking effort to close out the game. Kicking away possession time and time again. Smith was superb and at least stayed on the pitch but that is really poor.
