Made the most of the good weather and went on a little 50km loop around Epping with @elswick and @MrBaklava today. Slight snafu when my chain got jammed between the two rings, turns out the inner chainring bolts had come loose. A 2 man job to get it unstuck and I had to ride the last km’s in the big ring but no major drama.
Is there anything better than riding bikes through the woods on a sunny day with your friends?

Certainly a lovely day to be out today! Don't you have jobs to be at!?

Such a good bike! Is it a 54cm frame?

• #107
Thanks, yeah 54cm model but the measurements are closer to a 56cm.

All over this like a cheap suit... the builds they've been doing at The Woods Cyclery are pretty damn good as well... a lot to be said now for bucking the trend with electronic everything and opting for the simple life.

Those bars really finish it off! Great setup overall! Have you thought about the Crazy Bars? They're identical except for the horns

A handsome steed. Those bars look similar to SimWorks Fun3s, nice.

Thanks all, I’m really pleased with how it all came together and it rides exactly as I’d hoped. I keep on staring at it hung up on the storage hook and thinking about the next ride I can go on.
New bars feel great, not a million miles from the loop bars but I think I like them at least as much. Visually I think they look great and I’m really in to the silver.
For touring I’ll get some inner barends, I just need a little perch rather than a big fixed horn like the Crazy Bars.
These angled grips from drj0n look interesting.
