In that case I know why it feels like dip.
Death was good for a few seasons and then got steadily worse with black UK people with bad 'local' accents.
You can go fuck yourself up the sunny Philadelphia hole. Basically in survived due to one person when it should have failed. When things like middle men, bullet in the head and the finder only got one season.

I like David Mitchell, watched half an episode in the background but other things were going on, haven't gone back to it and likely won't, especially now I know it was written by the same person as death in paradise, which is one of the few things I've seen apart from Mrs Brown's Boys, that I actively dislike and am annoyed by.
