Anybody had experienced with Tarrago High Tech Nano Protector? Looking at it to protect my suede red wing boots which are the ones in the link below:

I am keeping a pair of chelsea boots at work to wear during office hours. I just don't see myself sitting at work doing the full polish with brushes and cloths etc, so what's the lowest effort shoe care routine I could establish for a weekly(?) routine. I am thinking there must exist a sweet spot of low effort yet significantly improved product lifetime.

If you have space to keep boots in the office you have space for a small shoe cleaning kit.
If you are only wearing them in the office you only need to polish them every month or two.
If you only need to polish them every month or two you can bring them home to polish.

What would people expect to pay all-in central london for a pair of boots (fracap M120 if that makes any difference) resoling with vibram crusty soles?
-
• #9768
Pay someone to do it for you?
-
• #9769
£60-£80 or so I think?

Per shoe or for the pair?

Pair!
Maybe my pricing is a little out of date, I think I paid £60 or £65 at a local cobblers in London for a pair of red wing chuckas to be resoled in white vibram. That was a couple of years ago.
Some people here have more recent intel.

In which case I would like to add a note of caution to the recommendations above for 'Cobblers Nest'. He is charging me £160 for the pair. TBH I was blindsided by the quote and just agreed because it was quite a walk from my office and I want them resoled ASAP. He actually said £180 first then said he'd do them for me at £160. In hindsight it felt like he was just quoting as high as he dared and expecting some pushback, but I was not expecting that sort of negotiation and blindly accepted.

That does seem quite pricey.

Yup, should have done my research on likely pricing before going down, but in the moment just assumed it was one of those surprisingly expensive things you encounter in life every now and then (I'm looking at you, vets bills and double bass strings) - I was not expecting a haggling situation. I'll have a word when I go to pick them up. He was very keen to get a google review from me. He won't like the one he gets if the price stays at £160.
A proper resole and there’s years more life in them.
Think the Malton is the 4444 last which is quite wide but it may be the 4497. There is a good half size difference between them
