  • Brasted seems to have a max of 16.8%, Sunridge 17.4%

  • Less than a week to go! Hopefully we get a crisp, dry day like today.

  • See! Maybe it's not just me who brings the non-sunny weather!

  • It will be sunny, just towards the end of the ride.

  • Same.

  • Sorry I missed

  • Wish you all well

  • It was Moderate+. Big up to those who made it, certainly a character building one. For the ones that couldn't, hope to see you at the next one āœŒšŸ¼

  • Clearly @youramericanlover enjoyed Sundridge Lane.

  • legit hardness imo and mandatory reality check for HDIJ afaic. the next one was billed as easy but i wouldn't count on it:)

like a condensed version of january but on the lanes of the lovely Green Belt denizens, minding their peculiar saturday business in cars.

  • As if anyone who rides a fixie needed any more 'character'.

  • Well that was a great ride. It was wet yes, but actually by the time I had my double puncture (FOR SHAME) on Beddlestead it wasn't raining that much. Sorry again for the delay on that one. @Glws I owe you a tube! I'll PM you. Long-ish train and 6am kiddie management meant I didn't get my spares packed sufficiently. Thanks for your patience. Happens to us all I guess!

Great lanes though, I was saying it was nice to go over the ridge but not descend to reservoir but rather play around on the top. Uber autumn, wind and leaves and rain sprinkles. As others have said it was a little shock to the system, I had to run up the steep bit of Sundridge. Amazing carrot cake at the cafe near the bottom of Star Hill.

Capital M for Moderate though :)

  • Amazing carrot cake at the cafe near the bottom of Star Hill.

SAY THE NAME OF THE CAFE

  • Don't worry about the tube I'll patch yours and we will call it quits.

let it be known that you are now riding a #mavic #cycling #product that held up for over 60km after installation

  • Having held the tube in my hands prior to installation, I can vouch for it's superior quality, such suppleness. Truly the Loro Piana of butyl tubes.

  • Route planning for our next Moderate ride on 9th November is in progress... no Hogtrough, Brasted or south side of Toys. Full details in the coming days!

  • Who's in for next week? Autumnal lanes guaranteed
