Not as popular, but I have a Netatmo. Works nicely with Home Assistant, easy to install, the app is pretty straightforward (and also has a good browser interface), no subscription, easy to get your data and I've had no issues I can remember in the ten yers I've had one. You can often pick them up for cheap on ebay.
They're not as well known but they're owned by LeGrand who do that kind of stuff for industry.
A controversial view on here but I wouldn't necessarily go with smart thermostats. Apart from the aesthetic issues, when I looked at them the payback period was very long. There's also the issue whether trying to heat individual rooms using central heating is the most efficient way of doing it.
