On Friday's normal length episode, Hislop mentioned something along the lines of Israel/the series only lasting one episode.
I'm guessing it's related to that?

And while I'm here, does anyone know where I can watch Twin Peaks?
-
• #9754
I think it's prime and/or paramount

Google these days tells you within the search results where a film/series is available to watch & whether it's free etc.

I've finished (well I assume there will be another season at some point) Mythic Quest for now. Enjoyed it overall.
Now need another sub 30 minute light comedy to fill the gap. I may rewatch Arrested Development

I may rewatch Arrested Development
I did 1-3 recently and they're as good as ever.

Interesting series on iPlayer called Corridors of Power: Should America police the world? Looking at American interference in various conflicts such as the middle east, Bosnia and Rwanda. I was quite young when Bosnia happened so couldn't remember the details or footage, was pretty harrowing. Not one to watch if you don't want to be bummed out.

That sounds very interesting, thanks for posting!
There’s an excellent movie based around that conflict that I haven’t seen in years.

^^ I thought it was an interesting series, reasonably balanced, though a bit lacking in outside criticism, though I suppose the point was to hear from the Americans involved.
I'm struck by what you say about Bosnia because when the latest war in Ukraine started I thought it odd that the comparable, in some ways worse, horrors of Bosnia seemed to have been forgotten, as if Ukraine was unprecedented. Norma Percy's series The Death Of Yugoslavia which was on the BBC is on YouTube and is very, very good. -

Cheers will look that up. I think a lot of people have forgotten Bosnia, and Rwanda too and associate genocide as something that happened way back in the past with the Nazis.
Really interesting the part where the Americans point out that if they called Rwanda a genocide there were legal obligations for people to act so they had to be careful how they referred to it in public.

Enjoyed S2 of The Cleaner on iPlayer. Couple of meh episodes but the Committee was great.
Ludwig was good too, just don't go in expecting the story to be resolved

The US has been fucking about in other countries for years. What the US did in Iran has led to Iran being what it is now.

Ludwig was an enjoyable watch. Does have an air of death in paradise or just me?

Finished watching slow horses last night. It’s still a great series, and I loved it.
6 episodes feels so short! But the last episode opens with this unbelievable shot. I’m so curious how they did it. Camera comes down on a drone then..? It’s super cool.

I’ve never seen DiP but my partner said the same thing actually.

It really bothered me when a tv production company take a book that’s easily 8-10 episodes (that we would lap up by the way) and cut it to 5-6.

Chelsea Detective too, an under rated version of the genre.

Always a small sigh of despair when Slow Horses finishes. I know folk probably expected more humour but the book itself is one of the more bleak ones
Has anyone watched the US version yet?
