With Waltly, I started out putting a spec together purely out of interest to see what I could come up with but rapidly got to the point where I would have had no idea until the finished product arrived of the impact of or differences between some of the options (things like tube profiles, shapes, diameters etc.) - how have people worked through the process with confidence about what they'll end up with?
I've got a Waltly frame (60,000km on it) and my Wife has a Titan. I specc'd the geometry, BB, cabling, headtube, brakes etc but let them do the tubing. They make 1000s of frames so figured they'd know what diameters to go with. Can't fault either frame.
