Excellent morning. Rode over to cheddar gorge which is absolutely full of crawling spots.

Mentioned before my CC02, more of a trail car, but had a number of upgrades to allow some light crawling.

I've locked rear diff only at present.

My sons Christmas present car arrived yesterday. Supposedly used twice, but is absolutely mint. At £83 posted, I'm very happy!

Got some new decals coming, will print him some license plates and add an aerial with a flag.

These people are pushing RC into something completely crazy. Can use them globally apparently. Mixture of crawling, racing but with feedback and fpv

Just booked a holiday to lanzarote. Added an extra bag so I can take a car or two. Plenty of volcanic rock to climb on

Feels like we should potentially merge this thread with the Tamiya one, call it "RC" or something.

Anyway, I've just grabbed a second hand HPI Sprint 1, to do a full nut and bolt restoration. Everything through the parts washer, TI screws etc.

What make is this one?

Been looking to get my boy a cheap crawler for his birthday. He will be 7 but just looking at basic stuff we can both enjoy, maybe make some routes in the house.

What would be a good one? I have been looking at WPL. Would the cheaper ones be robust enough?

Any good ones to look out for secondhand?
