Took my wife's 2008 Beetle in for annual service and MOT on Thursday. Got a voicemail at 17.30 to say they're having problems with key, the car won't start and the scanner says the cpu can't communicate with the key. Do I have another key and can I bring it in. Also, they're closing at 17.30....
So I take the spare key in on Friday morning. Roll on to Friday at 17.00 and I get a call to say its ready to pick up.
Get there at 17.25. pay, get the keys and the car won't start. All the mechanics left at 17.30 and I now have to wait till Monday for someone to look at it.
In the 14 years my wife has had the car, there has never been a problem with it not starting. Never. Only happened the garage.
