Thanks for the tips. Batteries are some new LR44s - the light meter appears to work but from research I get the impression that people don't trust it after x amount of years. I did something about light seals, but from a glance, nothing seems obvious
Plan was just to put it automatic mode, click and shoot for the next week when out and about and see what happens.
I think the OM XX cameras are all sweet with LR/SR44 batteries - no issues. There’s a possibility of corroded wires, which will effect the meter. A test against a free Lightmeter app on a phone is easy enough. They’re usually within half a stop or completely obviously off (or non-functioning).
