  • No, but i presently have a bullitt and a bullitt steering damper and am also interested

  • Good loading strategy, but must have been a bit annoying, no?
But then urban arrow are probably less flexy than my single tube bakfiets.

  • whats the red and green thing on the left of your bars?

  • personally prefer a good ol' battering ram

  • Green is the switch for the front light, red is the horn (usually built into the back of cheapy ebike lights, but i've rewired it to a 12v car horn)

  • Is this one of thise kits for bafang bbs?

  • @young_gun, @fly I've got the damper and it rides nicely. It was already installed on the bullitt when I bought it second hand so the only experience of riding without one is a quick test ride outside a shop a couple of years before I finally bought one.

But I find it very stable and never had any of the speed wobbles that I've read about, even on a fast descent. And the first time I rode it I had no problems and felt more like a normal bike, while during the first ever test ride I found it took a few minutes of getting used to the longer wheelbase.

  • Horn is really good.
Are you allowed to have one in the UK?
Germany you can only have a bell, people do horns anyway but don't attach them permanently.

  • I love my Airzound horn. I modified it to use a 3ltr bottle so it lasts ages! It seems to be the only thing that can wake up oblivious phone drone pedestrians. 😁

  • Any buliteers tried the 'inside hole', there's a whole Facebook group about it!

  • Yes, there's no law against it as far as I've heard.
I've got an air zound lying around somewhere in the garage, used to be fun to blow at cars that cut me up.

  • Thanks for the review! I have a customer that is interested in buying one and I have no experience to draw on.

It’s going to be used in hilly Bristol with a lot of weight so I guess it would make sense based upon what you have experienced!

  • Sounds very saucy, anything you can elaborate on for those of us without Facebook?

  • All about putting the steering rod in the inner hole

  • Is it a tandem? Is it a cargo? Either way it’s should show up this week, goal is to add an omnium rack (or similar) and remove the front mast in cranks. To create a hybrid omnium style people mover, like the second pic.

  • Can't wait to see this

  • Might have to do something similar to you with a bigger bottle.

  • Ha ha ha Hase!
Those are great, when I did the Schwarzwald Radweg there was a family of four coming the other way with bigger people in the back and smaller ones in front. Think that's an efficient way of touring.

@Black_Rainbow_Project bigger bottle sounds great. I don't cycle enough in the city so I'd probably have to pump up because air loss, not honking.

  • Found one for unreasonably cheap on the local classifieds (well not really local, i live in the south east of austria and this thing is near the swiss border but close enough.) going to de-tandem for now and add a seatbelt. Goal is to have something that i can ride with my small person as they start riding my own bike but a bitt better then the touring bike with a mtb seat, this will probably force the sale of a few other bikes though.

  • I really like the basket thing you can add underneath, wondering if that works on older ones too.
Good plan, have passengers that help with pedaling must be good.

  • Have seen some for sail for the older ones but they are like 500$ may talk to the welder at the local bike coop about putting something together

  • Last fucking trip from the old apartment, completely forgot about this cunt!
