  • 30mins ~12hr power with a HR that would be more indicative of me doing a 10mi TT (still 10W than last turbo sesh).

The good news is that I can hold the bar with my right arm now, like fully, not just in position with no weight on it. I could hold on right handed and drink left handed. So, that's quite nice. Was a bit worried as even late last week I could barely lift my arm from vertical beyond maybe 20-30 degrees.

Whether or not I'll be able to ride the OR&DR 200 (thinking about ECEing it to 300k) in 2 weeks remains to be seen but then I'm not the kind of idiot to not at least give it a go.

  • X-ray done yesterday. Wound healing nicely apparently. The front of my shoulder is still numb. I've a new dressing on now that's less annoying and can be removed Friday.

  • I put a tshirt on yesterday, for the first time since June.

I was able to do my "Bilateral shoulder forward flexion with ER resistance" all the way over my head to the floor too. But today it feels like I've overdone something. Oops.

Did 30min on the turbo at lunch and my HR was in the 180s just doing what should be 12hr power! Can you say "fat unfit cunt" three times fast?

So this has been you for a while

  • Apart from my lack of interest in covering myself with bad biro drawings, the resemblance is there.

Actually, we just bought me some button up shirts. Everyone has been asking if I'm going to court...

  • X-ray yesterday and I've been given the go-ahead to ride.

Physio has changed up again and I'm doing more weighted stuff rather than ROM stuff.

Problem now is I've been off the bike so fucking long I don't really remember what the fuck I was doing or have any idea of where to go or what to do.

  • insert well known idiom here...

  • A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush?

  • Got a little over 100km done out near Aylesbury. I can still ride, which is nice. Bit slow, bit sore afterwards, but we got around. Some train dramas and some navigation dramas and some technical dramas and obviously it wouldn't be a hippy ride unless a certain someone was caught in a rain shower in the middle of a field with his jacket 2km away or the HAB left a kilo of grass in the RDs.
