Minute cryptic

My tip for today: don’t do this stupid puzzle game at 12:10 when you just got in from the pub.

Am going to start using a notepad to help work it through rather than diving in.

Daily cryptic is so hard!

I used to do it every day, 25 years back, and could usually get at least halfway, very rarely complete it. Had a look at today's, and could get 6 clues - maybe would have got more if I'd had the time, but not much more.

In contrast, this week's Minute Cryptics have taken about 5 seconds combined. Graun cryptic is something you really need to do for a while to get into the headspace. And accept they will often use words you have never heard before or will again.
