DIY job? Mine have not enjoyed multiple trips to the beach. Cork starting to disintegrate which I guess can’t do much about. But could replace the now flapping sole

no, took them to a cobbler. £30. He was resistant at first but said he’d have a go. I’ve been very impressed. I’d say they got another 2 years before needing another resole

Timpson’s glued a flapping sole a month or too ago for a donation to the charity jar - not sure how long it will last but holding up well so far

Once the original Birkenstock sole was replaced these will last forever.
