Straight fits are '-003' and '-005'- not sure if this link will work: https://www.pbj-denim.jp/SHOP/258337/258338/list.html
Most are either '-019' (relaxed taper) or '-013' (slim taper) fits, but not always reflected in the model number. e.g. I have the XX-020 (with '20' label inside) which is a '13' fit in bright blue cored-threads. Oddly the XX-014 was purple... 🤷

Took my Anglo Italian jeans for the 2nd repair and got them taken in 2cm. Done for free. I know they’re on the more expensive end and not a selevedge name but the service there is always great and same for the fit

I bought a second pair of Huit selvedge about 6 months ago. The denim was pretty soft right from the start. It seems maybe a bit too soft, is wearing a bit strange. It doesn't feel quite as robust as the first pair.
The white patch on the pocket is where i have my wallet. Cf a pair of Momotaro which are at least 5 years old.

Probably a good thing they’re not showing the grimace on his face.

Just got a pair of the Lee 101Zed, very nice for the price, might become a go to.

Oh nice. Pics? I took delivery of some Warehouse 1003XX 1941 buckle backs today and am very pleased. First jeans I've purchased in years and good to know that Warehouse are still selling jeans for $250-280 that are still the best in the biz if you just want proper jeans. So many crazy fabrics nowadays. And Full Count have shot up to $350-450. Wild.

Those sound great too, haven't investigated the BB style as yet.
I'll try and get some pics later on.
Only caveat is I hope they shrink down enough. -

When did Lee start doing 21oz denim???
-
• #4189
heaviest i can see on their website is 15oz.
i'm curious as to how these would compare to Edwins.

Honestly its pretty subtle. Could easily just it off. I've basically come to terms with the fact that jeans have to be 1937-1944ish to be a fit that I like and quite a few of them from that era still have cinches. My fave jeans of all time have a cinch and these are looking like they'll fit pretty much like that so I am very pleased.
Are the Lee's MiUSA? Tried to see online but could be looking at the wrong version.

Nice that was the repro selvage denim that started it all off for me in the late 90s? They were made in Ireland (then Malta and then Macau) BITD. Had a nice little side hustle selling irregulars/seconds for a while, used to get them sent down from an outlet up north then redistribute them amongst my mates in London. #csb
Have you still got yours, @rickster?

Irish 101 jacket. Oooh yes.
I seem to remember you callously fleecing me for about £36.
-
• #4193
Callous is about right! 🤣
The 101-Z started at £75 at American Classics and then shot up to £95 in a very short time. Can't remember what the retail was on the 101-J, £125-ish? Wish I still had that hook-up!
I've still got a my 101-J, one pair of 101-z and a Westerner jacket with 101-J tags that somehow slipped out of of the factory. Such great quality, the quality went to shit when it moved to Macau, half selvage/non selvage, crappy denim.
I remember being at a few shows BITD with mates where we were all Lee double denim clones, half a dozen of us. Pretty funny.

nice boots that! What are they?
Good spot, found the tab and it says 13. Do you know what their straight fit is? With maybe a slight taper below the knee but room in the top section and thighs
