Not sure that's particularly valid; it depends on the drug they're addicted to, and perhaps to a lesser extent, the person themselves.
My old next-door neighbour was on the smack, and he was salt of the earth; as trustworthy as people come. Terrible shame I couldn't trust him not to die of an OD, though 🥺
Folks I'd trust less than drug addicts: rich people. A lot of them seem to think paying people is optional.
I've seen so many lives destroyed by drugs, not that it stopped me partaking in my time. It's valid in my experience, never trust a junkie but you do you!
Unless they're a rich junkie, mummy and daddy will always pay you back in that scenario.
