Glad that Slow Horses is finally back tomorrow - having just finished reading Spook Street I'll be interested to see much comic tone it has

I enjoy slow horses the show, and I really like the books.

I think they've miscast Shirley Dander in the last series, as much as I like the actress from Detectorists etc.

I did too, as she's nothing like she's described in the books. I am, however, warming to TV Shirley.

Yeah Dander is toned down a lot.
But then I always saw Lamb as looking like John Sargeant
