Yikes not the best start!

Although I'm not sure if there's a standard definition, a mild hybrid normally denotes where electric drive has been bolted on to an existing engine design and just provides assistance, where as a true hybrid like the Swace has been designed for purpose and provides greater power and range from the electric drive.

ah ok - maybe mild was the wrong term.
i didn't get the sense that the batteries were doing all that much but maybe that's just what hybrids are like - i'd never driven any kind of hybrid before this one.

Not a car, but a farmers Lamborghini parked outside my local this evening.

Shirley a farmer's Lambo would be an actual Lamborghini?

You can see that's a real Lamborghini, it's been polished and is indoors in an air conditioned facility. I've seen a tractor badged as a Lamborghini in the wild in Slovenia. I thought it was just a Slovene farmer with a sense of humour and have used it as a silly phrase ever since.

If it is not a pre early 60s, the tractor isn't a real lambo as lambo became part of SAME.
Tho the oil lamps lasted longer

I hear that Enzo Ferrari enjoyed trolling Ferruccio Lamborghini by reminding him of his humble automotive origins every chance he got.

Thanks - this is perfect intel. Booked into auto glass on Monday, now have their fucking jingle stuck in my head all weekend

My little Forester continues to be fantastic, so much fucking fun, took it to the car wash today, looks beautiful, etc, blah, blah. But I'm still getting an intermittent check engine light with a B0E04 knock fault code. Internet tells me it isn't a big deal, could just be a dodgy knock sensor, ECU corrects the knock anyway, etc. My wrench guy doesn't seem worried.
What should I do? What does the car thread hive mind think?

Take it to a scooby dealership and get stitched up big time

Been there, done that! 🤣

Yeah, that's what they are like. Disappointingly low time on pure EV, some power assist from EV but not amazing, engine sometimes noisy, fuel economy ok but not amazing. And Suzuki/Toyota are the better ones.

Could be a wiring loom thing, a sensor thing, a ground wire thing....the intermittent nature makes me think its a wire thing. No luck on Scooby forums?

I've mentioned it on a couple of the SF5 groups on FB, so many answers and it could be absolutely anything. Haven't had a major red flag from anyone tho', I just wanna make sure I don't cook the motor.

I saw a good cross sport today. Should snapped a pic but was driving... Beige/khaki textured stone guard paint on the body, black textured paint on the bumpers and side panels and all black wheels. Looked ready for an apocalypse.

They're so nice, I very nearly went for one of those instead of the one I got.

I’m trying to swap the rear speaker in my car that is completely destroyed. I went to the scrapyard and got a random replacement. Now the old one has two connectors for the speaker while the new one only has one.
Is there anyway I can make this work?

Maybe the old one has a crossover and the 2nd set goes on to a tweeter?
-
• #80098
What does the original speaker look like on the other side.
-
• #80099
Suppose I could try splicing just one set of the speaker wires into the replacement one?
Attached a pic of the original.

I’m going to look a 2005 Smart car. This can only end in tears am sure.
the one i drove had a small petrol engine and batteries capable of propelling the car, is that not some sort of hybrid?
