When I was 13 I found £50 and user @Currid convinced me to buy a Suede album with it from Saffron Records in St Austell. Straight back to swap it for Daft Punk’s first album the next day

Went to a festival in France in the early to mid-noughties. One of the headliners was supposed to be Sigur Ros. They pulled out at the last minute for one reason or another and were replaced by Suede. Absolutely no one was impressed.

Is this Liam or Noel? Like Ant or Dec I can never tell them apart.

I was at the Roses gig in Wembley, yeah it was shit. Couldn't hear the band actually playing because all the twunts at the front drowned it out with their karaoke versions, often with the wrong fucking lyrics.

You gotta get down the front and be part of it, then it doesn't matter

I would have done, but I would have felt out of place. It was weird because it seemed all the people at the front couldn't have been born when the songs had actually been released.

I love shouting my head off to songs I love at gigs, apologies to all those whose nights I’ve ruined at Arcade Fire, Smashing Pumpkins, Super Furry Animals, and yes Stone Roses shows.
