Not sure if youre still looking, but it's only the Pro Lanshan 1 that needs seam sealing. The normal one is already done.
For the pole, these are excellent and fit in the same bag, so it's very small and light to carry : https://ultralightoutdoorgear.co.uk/carbon-tent-pole-125cm-5-section/
Best tent I've ever had. Bike touring, hiking etc, it's so good. Better than the tarptent and anything else I've had.

I have no skin (other than my knob now) in the game, I only even went looking out of curiosity. Either way you'll never forget a hyphen again and Mr Schick will sleep easier. :D

after writing up a blog about why I prefer bivvying to using a tent, I'm borrowing a tent for next weekend. The reason is that I'm going to an event in Kent which lasts 2 nights and they've laid on a campsite in an open field, and I want to be able to come back to the place of sleep after the ride and schlump down knowing that all my relevant gubbins has been kept dry while I've left it.
Annoyingly the 'campsite' doesn't have a shower so I'm mooting taking a sponge and a bar of soap to wash myself with after the ride so I don't have to crawl in to my scratcher all grubby and dirty.
a friend is lending me their tent so I'll try to remember to share how it goes.

Flushable wipes can be a solution.

Going back to my request for comfortable camping chairs a few posts up.
I am on the 7th night of a camping trip and have not suffered from any back pain unlike previous trips due to poor seating position.
I bought a couple of these (you can get them for around £60 if you have a hunt).

The head cushion bit can slide down for adjustable lumbar support if required. It isn't that small folded up, but would recommend it if you have back problems and space to to pack it.
And that 1 point is awarded for technical definition and the 5 for an adopted term.
Could we both be right? - let's touch knobs and find out.
