Yes but timing is bad! Think I said the same about your 182...

He's very good, isn't he? He's come back to me with prices. Only $200 more for airmail so I'm gonna go with that, I think. Twice the ticket price all in but they're so reasonably priced to begin with that I'm okay with that.
It'll just be a case of how perfect do I want them to be now. There are a couple of small marks on them but I can get them blasted and powdercoated to the exact colour I want if the mood takes me.

That is cheap. To think some thought near a grand for a standard Clio was cheap

Wheels paid for, now we wait. 💸

Spoke to my powdercoaters of choice and they can't do Subaru bronze or any other metallic for that matter. Might just have to be a gentle Resto or a spot touch-up, tho' they look pretty great as they are.

i'd probably role them as is.
the powdercoater here can do metallic colours an all sorts, its very variable by each business as to what colours they stock

I also picked up some new rally wheels to try on the Ignis.
Starting to get this ready to use again - rear dampers off for a rebuild soon and then probably a gearbox build next

That's the good thing about running 16s, more rubber and less rim to chew up. I'm gonna be very careful, I'll need to catch a cab to the kerb.

Somebody at work has what looks like a group N Suzuki swift rally car as their daily. Always makes me smile.

At least they're not 19" diamond cut rims. My Audi needs the wheels refurbished thanks to the ah, skills of the other half... Got a quote for $750 per wheel to fix back to factory finish.

Regas are such a good wheel.
I'm a bit bored of Work Meister S1, they're like "My first Japanese wheels". I acknowledge the judgy nature of this comment but the people who own these wheels are the people who think "I want some Work wheels" and open up Driftworks and buy the cheapest 3 piece wheels they can. It's not about the price although it sounds like it, it's just about the lack of creativity. All these Japanese cars in the UK with identikit aero/bodykit and the same wheels in different colours or slightly different offsets. Just do something different.

oh really. WHat colour is it? They were available with most of the Group N sticker kit as a factory option

BBS LM’s are clearly aftermarket on a 911 but I do think they look excellent (with the gold centres).

Wheel refurbs in South London, where? Who? Will need new tyres soon and thinking of trying to get the previous owner's kerb habit results removed.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it

You're absolutely right, they're quite buyer.
I actually think Work make a lot of much nicer wheels too.
Work Equip 40 and Emotion RS11 are probably two of my all time favourite wheels.
I particularly love the RS11 as they're quite similar to the Impreza Turbo 2000 wheels I had on my last Forester but a bit jazzier.

Managed to pick up a bargain on Facebook marketplace over the weekend. Got another one on my "achievable wheels" list:
949 Racing 6UL in 15x7
So I've got:
ATS DTC in 15x8
949 6UL in 15x7
Wedssport TC05 in 15x6.5Don't think I need 3 sets of wheels for one car, but I love trying out the different looks by just changing wheels
