@dancing james nice, I'm curious how your experiences with it will be!
As for burrs, ideally I would change to something that can manage both filter and espresso at 80% of what I could get with dedicated burrs. Just for the sake of not having to faff around. But I'll cross that bridge when I get there...
I was actually surprised that my partner got the right burr set (after the fact that she got me a grinder this expensive in the first place??). Although she likes coffee, she's not 'weird' about coffee, hah

I am interested to see how much difference I get going from niche zero to the philos.
Next year I hope to get the decent bengle and then I’ll be looking to ignore all coffee blogs, YouTube videos and forums so I can avoid further upgraditis.
It’s a bit like hifi or bikes, I have to avoid reading about marginal gains from equipment and just enjoy what I have.
Or find new rabbit holes to spend money on 🤣
Regarding the Philos, I ordered one with the 200 series burrs, because the majority of reviews that I have found suggest that they would be better suited to the type of coffee I usually go for, but when available on their own I'll get a set of the other burrs (189?) as they're not hugely expensive and it would be nice to see how they compare.
