With the second hand car, the car dealer warranty didn’t cover much. Mostly ICE engine and mechanical stuff.
Worth seeing whether you can get a car with a manufacturer warranty on the battery remaining just in case. Our Leaf has about 1 year warranty left on the battery, which is handy in case it craps out.
Also a cute detail on the Leaf, don’t know if the newer versions have this, but it has a solar cell on the top of the rear spoiler which tops up the 12v battery.

Given how little warranties cover. I'd try and make sure you get one with the best condition battery you can find and not worry too much about how long is on the warranty
