On the fulvias, having had a shitty exhaust made that refurbrated in cabin while a custom built one, with internal mandrills so none of the bends had kinks to effect exhaust exit...also echo'd in the car.
Even with all new rubber mounts.

40 quid to replace a headlamp bulb and you don't fit a h4 bulb right...and break a headlamp mount as your a thick as pig shit cunt.
That is why women hate taking cars to garages and getting ripped off.

Spotted this late fifties Plymouth Fury outside a pub in Whitstable earlier this week, owner must have been as thirsty as the V8 engine :)

Looking at used wheels from Japan, what could possibly go wrong?? 😋
I'm actually toying with the idea of getting my current wheels powdercoated bronze. Will have to do a PotatoChop and see how they'll work, they're not exactly what I want but the wheels I really want are obvs £$€¥.

Subaru wheels are a real rabbit hole… I had the OEM, prodrive PFF7. OZ superleggera, Revolution and Kahn RSV to name some. In various colours from white ,gold to bright flitter.
Just have to check they fit before pressing the buy button !

Fucking cars.
Managed to shear a bolt while I was putting the water pump back on. I couldn’t tighten the bolts anymore, but there was still a gap. Didn’t realise until I’d sheared the bolt that I hadn’t put the o ring in.

cheers for the shout dude and that little Seat is lovely. Bit early for my tastes. Been enjoying seeing this x1/9 being used pretty regular in local town

Replacement bolts easy to source?

The process sounds easy. In practice it could be challenging.

Fucking cars.
RM nailed mine today reversing into my neighbours driveway. Exact carbon copy of what happened to the m140i nearly 2 years ago.
Coward put a note through the door too and didn't knock.2 weeks out from leaving this place and having off road parking for both of my vehicles. ðŸ«

I was thinking about silver on black the other day, change it up a little and get away from the stock look. Not sure what I'll do just yet, depends what I wanna do with the paint, don't think I wanna go full resto.
It's very clean and original, with paint correction and a couple of resprayed panels it'll look brand new again. Just not sure I can be fucked to do that. Cue inevitable crushing disappointment when I (or some other cockhead) dinks it again.
CSB, etc. Think it's gotta be stock bronze mesh BBS if I can find them.
PS Those gold wheels in Japan are absolutely bang on according to my research. Will double check at my local tyre place on Monday then explore purchase. 💸

If you love the car, get the wheels you really want. You'll look at it every day and be happy you did. I don't really like the wheels I put on my Peugeot, but they were the only ones that fit over the brakes so I was limited... But yeah always a bit dissatisfied with how it looks. And the fact that I got the offset slightly wrong so there's rubbing on the guards

The cup has less sound proofing than normal, so there's not much to dampen the sound.
Also 172s have a hidden exhaust tip, which I think makes the noise resonate through the car more than if it were simply exiting the back bumper.
Edit: Does anyone on here have a mig that I can use for 30 minutes? one of my exhaust retainer nuts has broken off the body.
