Those are very fair and balanced texts - they even refrained from putting devil horns on Biden's head.

imginn.com is good. Some direct links don't work (like the one above), but going to the account that posted a link that doesn't work usually does work. Not sure how to do that with the link above, though.

Thiel is historically illiterate
Don't think I've heard Thiel speak before and curiosity got the better of me when I saw he was on Rogan, couldn't make it all the way through but he just seemed a boring compilation of half thought through ideas and tropes. Always endearing when the billionaire oligarchs answer to how could you improve things is make access to social security harder

Making poor people poorer does seem to be a consistently popular theme among billionaires.

What are you trying to say? I'm crazy?
When I went to your schools
I went to your churches
I went to your institutional learning facilities
So how can you say I'm crazy? -

(Trigger warning)
America eats its young…
…, at least the ones that don’t die early deaths from preventable disease, homicide or suicide.
They’ve allowed corporate interests to take over the political machinery and have so fully lost the plot that they’re ad libbing, poorly, having forgotten there was ever a plot beyond ‘make more money’ to begin with.

Well they made it without social security so clearly the problem of the world is social security.
The thing I find odd about Thiel is that if you look at his childhood, his experiences and things he liked would suggest he'd be more liberal in his views but he seems to have taken a right-turn at some point during highschool (big Reagan fan apparently) and stayed on that path.

Give them a break mate. It's August. They've got to stay hydrated.

Hm, maybe someone should come up with an alternative fact about Vance drinking bleach

Is this lady ok? She started strong and then spent half her speech sticking her tongue out after nearly every sentence.

was it a good speech ? haven't heard too much about it this morning. no monumental cock-ups ?
-

No cock-ups as far as I'm aware. I think she's channeling a bit of Obama's hope strategy and appealing to independent and undecided voters.
“Our nation, with this election, has a precious, fleeting opportunity to move past the bitterness, cynicism and divisive battles of the past, a chance to chart a new way forward – not as members of any one party or faction, but as Americans,”

And this was pretty powerful. If they could turn even a tiny % of Republican voters over to the Dems with people like this, surely that would make a huge difference.
Kinzinger, a former GOP congressman who served on the House committee that investigated the January 6 attack, argued that Trump had destroyed his party, echoing the comments of several prominent Republicans who have rallied for Harris since Monday: “I was a Republican for 12 years in Congress, and I still hold on to the label. I never thought I’d be here. But listen, you never thought you’d see me here, did you? But I’ve learned something about the Democratic party, and I want to let my fellow Republicans in on the secret the Democrats are as patriotic as us.”
Kinzinger added: “Donald Trump has suffocated the soul of the Republican party.”

He should have been arrested for sedition immediately after that. But it's hard to arrest your own president.
Don't be indoctrinated by that, be indoctrinated by this.
